How to use MiProjects in Words
MyProjects v1.0
Begin by clicking on the Plus sign (+) on the Start Screen, when the data entry screen appears, you must enter data into the Project Number, Go Live Date, Description and Information fields for the record to save properly. Save the record by tapping the Save button. Delete the Project, and associated contacts (team) by swiping the Project Name Cell or tapping Delete and selecting the one to delete.
Once a Project has been created, tap on the Project Name Cell bringing you to the Detail Screen where you can assign team members using the "+Team Members" button, this brings up the "Add Team Member" screen and button which enables the iPhone Address Book for selection of contacts for the Project. After selecting a contact, the Address Book screen will drop and the contact will be added to the project, continue adding contacts until done. If a contact's "Role" doesn't show up, open up Contacts, find contact and choose "AddField" choose "JobTitle" and enter Title/Role. *To import your contacts from a Windows based PC see instructions below.
Navigate back to the Detail and tap "Team Members" to view your team via the Contact Screen. From this screen you can also remove team members from the project by either swiping the name cell or tapping the "Edit" button. (Note) If you edit the project name from the Detail Screen, the contacts will be attached to the new Project Name you choose.
* Getting your Windows Outlook Contacts into iPhone/iTouch
Note: Exporting from Windows Outlook to a .CSV file is NOT allowed, you must export your contacts as vCard (.vcf) files. Go to Windows Outlook Contacts, select 1 or more of your contacts, Right Click and select “Send Full Contact” -> “In Internet Format (vCard)” and email your contacts to a place you have access to your Apple Computer, save these files into a temporary folder, or drag them directly into your Apple Contacts. You can then synchronizing your iPhone/iTouch (instructions below) and your contacts will be added to your iPhone/iTouch Contacts application and available to add to your projects. If the contact information changes, you’ll have to recreate the contact the MiProjects Project.
